Overview:

Writing for publication is an essential component of faculty advancement and an opportunity to showcase the collective scholarly works you accomplish for CONHI and for the University. Improve your writing skills with this series of WfP 101: Rural Nursing and WfP 201: Rural Nursing

Course Descriptions:

WfP 101: Rural Nursing

A 5-week course where participants will learn how to write a journal manuscript and how to incorporate rural nursing into their writing. Within the course participants will explore the barriers and fears of writing and strategies for overcoming those hurdles. The course allows participants to determine if they want to write as a solo author or choose to be a partner in a team of authors. At the conclusion of the course a nursing continuing education certificate of completion will be awarded. (Seat limit: 30)

WfP 201: Rural Nursing

A 10-week course in which the participants will create and polish their manuscript for publication. This course is set to be offered immediately following the WfP 101 course. (Seat limit: 15) Prerequisite: WfP 101: Rural Nursing
