Rural Health Resources
Over 15% of Texans live in rural communities. Many of these communities lack access to care, insurance, and even resources to be able to better their health. Rural Texans have a higher percentage of individuals that suffer from cancer, stroke, chronic lower respiratory disease, heart disease, and unintentional injury. Below, we have named some resources available for rural communities in need.
Resources:
National Rural Health Association (NRHA)
Rural Nursing Organization (RNO)
