- A retired officer of the US ARMY Nurse Corps
- Joined the UTA BSN Rural Health Liaison Team in June of 2022

- 11 years of experience as a registered nurse
- 3 years serving as adjunct clinical faculty for the UTA AO BSN program.
- 3 years serving in a Critical Access Hospital caring for pediatrics and adults in the medical/ surgical setting
- Spent the last 5 years caring for our military and veteran population in various settings including Ortho, Cardiac/Telemetry, and Pulmonary.
- A member of the Academy of Medical -Surgical Nurses and received her CMSRN in 2021.
- A member of Sigma Theta Tau Professional Nursing Association.
- Lived and worked in a rural community as a nurse, and now has a deep appreciation for the unique challenges that those communities face.
- Joined the UTA BSN Rural Health Liaison Team in June of 2022

- Previously CEO CAH Parkview Hospital 2012-2022.
- A registered nurse since 1990 with practice in a variety of settings to include Med/Surg Nursing, Management and Education.
- Received Masters in Nursing from UT at Tyler.
