Our 2nd Annual Rural Health Conference was hosted by The University of Texas at Arlington Center for Rural Health and Nursing. This exciting event brought together rural health peers throughout Texas to discuss rural health issues and solutions. An array of speakers from rural hospitals, clinics and organizations across Texas provided valuable insights and solutions to rural health challenges.

Attendees learned more about UTA’s Center for Rural Health and Nursing, network, and got to know their peers in rural health care.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5
Rural Health Conference | Rio Grande and Carlisle | 8 am. – 5 p.m.
The conference brought awareness to rural health care issues and provided solutions within the state of Texas. We had speakers from rural hospitals, clinics, and organizations in Texas.

CONTACT HOURS
This conference awarded up to 7.5 nursing contact hours for the nurse that successfully completed the activity. The University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing and Health Innovation is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Commission on Accreditation.
